No you shouldn't use deodorants or soaps on your VAGINA. It's not called down there, it's your VAGINA...Why can't people just say it???

Actually you don't want to be douching or using any sort of special soaps. "Down there" has it's own special ph balance and douching and soaps can destroy the ph, leaving you more susceptible to infections and irritation. If you are having some lack of freshness that you feel is abnormal then you should go to your physician to see if you have a yeast infection or something of the sort.

Virginity Soap
The soap is formulated with menthol to serve as a cooling agent. The soap also contains the main ingredient of Sodium Lactate, which is an anti-bacterial as well as a skin softener. Liquid Alum is also added for anti-bacterial and anti-microbial agents.
The alum also produces a tightening effect. Thus the term "Virginity Soap"
Regular use would mean at least three times a day

use something really mild... dove, aveeno something without perfume or harsher chemicals. You do not want an allergic reaction!
Your best bet is just washing gently with water and a wash cloth. Be sure that any detergent or fabric softeners are not going to irritate you as well. The vulva can be very sensitive to those as well. Be careful about douching as it can mess up the pH of your vagina and can actually promote yeast infections.

if you are having real issues with scent - then you need to see a doctor as you may have an infection.
Just use bodywash - - and don't put anything "in" there.
there is a new product i think by monistat for freshness - look in the pharmacy section. Most people don't need anything extra
oh the other thing is if you are wearing jeans a lot , tight pants or synthetic (lycra) panties, it doesn't let the skin breathe and bacteria can build up. Cotton panties is the best way to go
hope this helps

I like Ivory. Just keep in mind that at different times in your life, you may have a different amount of discharge, causing you to feel (and maybe smell) less fresh than normal.
Try carrying some of the feminin wipes in your purse. They're the same size as wet naps.

dial is a good recomdation, but if you are getting sweaty during the day and that is causing a scent, then after you shower put of a talic free powder made for females like Vagasil, and there is also some deodarant sprays you can use as well found in the same area of the store that the powder is. Good luck and don't put anything down there that could cause irritation.

Ivory or baby shampoo / soap
But remember , bathing cleans what is there at present ,
But nothing 'keeps you fresh' , esp if you have discharge.
That is impossible , just clean every day.

I would suggest any type of antibacterial soap. That is great for odor.. try dial body soap.. and you'll be fresh oh so fresh!
Oh I almost forgot.. Having a healthy urinary tract too helps. So taking cranberry pills once a day is great for you. You can buy them in the vitamin section at any grocery store..
