Try a local theater group or the acting club at your school, many have started that way.

Different ways:
1. Audition for school, community plays, churches. You will be asked to read from a script provided (most of the time). Always get an insight on the character you are auditioning for, then you can have a better understanding how to audition for that part. You can even ask the person that will audition you.

Okay, so get into your local theatre...and sign up for many things to do with theatre. Dance, voice lessons, etc. Start building a resume! If you can travel to auditons and mainly get your name out there.
