Its not a bad name, it reminds me of all those Cowboys Pictures , Movies of years ago when I was growing up when somebody was always called Link in it. Do you remember Lincoln Vale of the Everglades, it was a Cops and Robbers Series, it featured these special Boats with Propellers in a Cage for use in the Everglades of Florida, and the Hero was Lincoln Vale.

Yes, it's wrong... don't do it.
The child is gonna "live" with his (or her) name for a lifetime and Link is just not a good name nowadays... choose something nice, maybe ask your relatives for some suggestions, just make sure the child will be happy with his name when he gets older, alright ?

There is nothing wrong with the name Link, but remember when the child grows up kids will tease him for instance " here comes the missing Link" "Link you stink" don't think it won't happen cuz it will. My maiden name was VanEenaeme pronounced van enemy, it was awful lol

People name their kids all things nowadays, so you could name him LINK. When I said the name out loud, though, it reminded me of "Linc" from the "Mod Squad," 60's show. It was short for Lincoln.

A name like Link would be fine. Some of the really off-the-wall sounding names would be cruel, though.
