Why would someone not be afraid to let you seem them staring at you? Because normally, I think if you caught someone who was staring at you, they would turn away, but if they don't, what is this about?

They were not taught it's not polite to stare or maybe they find you attractive. They also might find whatever you're doing or talking about interesting.

That I don't understand but I tell you what, the stares that I have gotten from women are awful. One woman glared at me for the longest time until I asked if she had a problem with me. Then the hate started to spew out. I had no clue who this was. My children thought she was nuts.

I understand that sometimes people are in a daze and are just staring but not looking at someone. This woman glared at me with a mean look. Her bf/hubby had no idea. Anyway, this is a good question because staring is extremely rude. I teach my children not to stare, especially if someone is hurt or mentally ill. It's ok to look, but not gawk. Personally, I think it's rude.

oral, I hope you're not referring to those that answered as bi, I am far from bi or homo that anyone can get. Straight and might proud. This question is posted in the wrong section because staring is not a gay/lesbian issue.

Who knows, perhaps they enjoy staring, they are awaiting a reaction. They are interested in you. They are just strange and stare at people. Maybe they are staring, however daydreaming and not aware they are staring. There are many possibilities for this question. Why don't you ask them next time, especially if this is one individual in particular. Be prepared for the answer. Good luck and God bless****

They are just some creep and you just have to avoid or ask in any way you want why they are staring. I ask and I'm not afraid to because they shouldn't be staring. By the way do people don't even care what category they put their question in these days because according to your question and many others they don't. Because i don't what this has to do with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered.

Intimidation. I think the person doing the staring is trying to intimidate the person they are staring at.

Maybe the person thinks that they know you from somewhere, or you remind them of someone, or they want to get to know you.
