I was wondering how I go about getting the furniture back off her, I've got proof that it was purchased in my name etc. but who do I go to to try and resolve this issue?

Look...
Just forget about it...she is wrong.
Tell her you can't let this ruin your friendship but it wasn't very nice of her and and you just need to know why she feels you need to buy her furniture. Then I guess you can't lend her anything.
Or you can take her to small claims court and she won't pay you then either.
Or you can call her job and tell the first person that answers the phone what a B she is
I see you having a lot of options!

Make an appointment with a legal adviser and take all your proof with you, the solicitor should be able to tell you what you need to do and how. Good Luck and choose your friends more carefully this is not how a friend should treat you.

You can take her to court, or just cut your losses and keep it moving. Don't make that mistake again, that person is not a real friend.

You can win in court, as long as you have the evidence that you purchase it.
