You will probably need to study biology or pre-med in college. This will involve at least four years of undergraduate study. I would suggest that you know the basics about biology, chemistry, calculus, and physics before going to college. After your undergraduate work, you have to apply for and get accepted to medical school, which usually will involve another four to eight years of study. You may have to do residency or more training after medical school depending on your field.
Becoming a doctor is one of the most difficult fields of study, and for good reason. We don't want any moron to become a doctor. I would expect to be in college and med school between eight and twelve years.

In order to go to medical school, you have to get your bachelors degree from an undergraduate university (4 years), and you take the MCAT test, and apply to med school which is about 4 years, and add internship and residency for a few more years it adds up to a total of about 10-11 years. Some top medical schools are yale, harvard, johns hopkins univ, ucsf, ucla, stanford etc.

your int he wrong category but here
first youll need pretty good grades.. you wont really need most of the stufff you learn in hs but you need good grades anyways.. you will need 4 years of undergrad and 4 years of medical school and plus there are interships, and residency. some great med schools are DUKE ( which i attend) , harvard, johns hopkins, princeton, the basic schools that you and i kno are on the top.. right now if i were to have no finanical aid and scholirships i would have to pay $50,000 per year and to that add living expenses ( food, basic toiletries) i would say around $3,000 per year if you really keep track of your spendings and then extra little costs and books.. so around 65,000 per year so after four years of college in a good school (based on costs for harvard and duke) $260,000+ for the four years. and apx the same for med school so your looking at $ 600,000 alltogether considering most extras.. (: but dont worry you wont be paying for all of it... apply for alot of scholoships and gov grants.. etc...

Why is this under "football"? I hate to break it to you but in order to become a doctor you're going to have to work on your freaking grammar and spelling.

First you need to be able to pay enough attention to detail to realize that you are in the wrong catagory.
Second you need to learn how to spell.
Third you need to learn how to compose a complete sentence.
