To me, the moral behind Finding Nemo is that you can't let your past control your future. Marlin's horrific experience with losing Nemo's mom and all of his other children at the start of the movie caused him to be overbearingly protective of his only son, who he saw as constantly in danger, and worse yet, weak and in need of his protection because of Nemo's gimpy fin.
Nemo was bound and determined to show his father that he can be independent, despite the handicap (which he tried to prove in going out to touch the boat)... not realizing the enormity of the loss his father had suffered and how that loss made him fearful of danagerous situations, especially situations that might threaten the life of the only child he had left. It wasn't that Marlin thought Nemo wasn't capable, it was that he didn't want to risk losing him.
Marlin gets his eye-opening experience when he rides with Crush along the EAC. When Little Squirt falls outside of the current, Marlin panics... as he would if Nemo found himself in a similar situation. Crush lets it go; he lets Squirt handle the situation himself -- trusting that he taught him well and Squirt will do the right thing, which he does.
Marlin begins to realize that should he find Nemo again, he needs to let go a little bit... he needs to let Nemo live his life, even if it means that he'll be scared for him.
In the meantime, Nemo is learning, through his new friends in the tank, that he actually is capable of much more than he previously thought.

White Chicks is an exaggerated comedy. It is is no was offensive to anybody. Its about as offensive to white people as Soul Plane is offensive to black people. ( It it NOT). Im unsure but the Miley picture, she knows that she's fueled by the mouse and must behave in a certain manor, yet she continually makes these 'mistakes' knowing that she can get away with it due to her status. I doubt it was offensive, she can do what she likes though, and the mouse will always support her, because they have pumped millions into her career.

As a mother I can empathise with Marlin, in that I would go to the ends of the world to protect my children, so to me that's what the movie is about... that parents will do anything to protect their children.
Oh also that:
- It's ok to be afraid but don't let your fears control you
- That fears can be conquered
