I need a good introduction for my research report on rust. I can't think of anything to write. My whole report is on how rust forms and what rust is. I also need a conclusion for my report. If anyone can help me please do.

Think of an attention grabber to start the paper. Maybe you can compare rust to hungry mice who nibble away at metal until it is full of holes.

Well, I am not going to do you homework for you. Since I don't have access to your outline, or to the body of your paper, I will make these general suggestions:
1. The introduction tells the reader what you are going to do in the rest of your paper. Explain the basis of the paper, you should also have thesis statement- what point(s) about rust are you going to make?
2. The conclusion should be a summary. Restate your thesis and then list the points you made regarding rust in your paper. You should summarize and conclude with a statement regarding your thesis statement.
That's very vague, but it's the best I can do without seeing your paper and doing your homework for you.
