It's possible to be alone...without being lonely.
Don't lounge around thinking about how you're all alone.
Why not do something nice, such as buy one of those valentine's day Teddy Bears you see. Buy it and take it to a hospital. Ask the nurse at the desk to give it to a child who is sick....
Or bake a cake or batch of cookies for the widow down the street...who lost their spouse..and is facing their first Valentine's day alone.
Or go volunteer at a soup kitchen. Feed some people who would *love* to be alone in their house. If they only had one...
Doing any of these things will make you feel good and take the focus off yourself.
Not only will you being doing something nice (which will make you feel good about yourself)..but it will make you realize that there are worse things than spending Valentine's day alone.
And who knows....maybe that *special someone* you are wanting to meet will be helping alongside you in the soup kitchen.
Or will be the nurse who thinks your *wonderful* for giving a sick kid a teddy bear.....
Just some ideas.
I hope you have a really nice Valentine's day.
May it be your last one *alone*....

Naaaaah.....I've been alone on the past two Valentine's Days and I've actually kind of had fun. Last year I went out to a bar and met some single guys. I think I got more attention being one of the only females out without a boyfriend or whomever. This year, I plan on buying a ton of chocolate and watching chick flicks.

its a day to celebrate love....not necessarily celebrate a specific kind of love. Spend it with people u love: friends family pets neighbors. the people in your life that give you hope and show you they care. the people who look at you and see that ur beautiful inside and out and appreciate knowing you and value your presence in their lives. love and valentines day just isn't for couples. and if ur depressed...ur depressed for all the wrong reasons. stop feeling sorry for urself...and if u don't love urself nobody else is gona either!

i've decided to not make myself depressed this year, so i'm gonna put on a bunch of teen movies that arent based solely on relationships and get some of my other guyless friends and have a night with popcorn and music and crap to keep our mids off of it. or like design clothes or soemthing, anything to keep my mind off of it

I'll be happy to not have to buy some present and wonder if it is what someone "really" wanted or if I was romantic enough. Kind of a nice break...

you spend it doing what you love best. whether it would be playing video games like most guys LOVE to do at your age :P, or watching movies, or have a guys night out with just you and your single guy friends.
