Be honest, please.
What do you think about Tyra Banks' recent weight gain and show about those infamous bathing suit photographs? Do you think she's a hypocrite or just being honest?

Given her weight and height, she is in the middle of the BMI range for healthy. No wonder girls get bulimia. The press calls celebrities who are not chronically underweight fat.
But she is also a hypocrite - she made millions by peddling the underweight model look. She can't turn around and say that she's hurt by the comments - she helped perpetuate them.

I read a interview with her in people magazine and it was an interesting article. I'm not really sure what you mean about her being honest or being a hypocrite. In the interview she stated that she has gained weight and she is not ashamed of it. Nor should she be. I think she looks great. She talked about her modeling days and how stressful it was to not eat and always having to be perfect. She proud of who she is, weight and all. I think to much emphasis is put on weight these days. Mk Olsen, Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richey....they all look like death warmed over.

She is NOT fat. It's no wonder women get eating disorders because of the friggin' media making such a huge deal out of someone gaining a few pounds. Tyra Banks looks beautiful, and while that picture of her in the swimsuit was not the best one I've seen of her, I didn't think she looked like the heifer everyone's making her out to be.

She's healthy and beautiful. That picture of her was just a bad shot. I saw her on a show, wearing the same bathing suit, standing next to that picture. She looked just fine. Good for her!!

I think Tyra looks good. she is very pretty and i am glad to see that she is not ashamed of how she looks. I think that over skinny models are a bad influence on kids. Nice job Tyra- hope more girls are happy with the way they look.

With all of the rail-thin celebrities out there, i think it's about time one looks like the average woman. It sends a much more positive message to other women out there, especially the already body-conscious teenagers who are willing to starve themselves to death to fit an unrealistic standard of what a woman "should" look like. And she definitely makes me feel a little better. I think she's a positive role model for a lot of girls, plus she's sexy, so i say more power to her.

She is NO longer a model..she can do what she wants...its her body..I think its stupid to give her air time or media time because she is heavier though..Don't we have more important things to talk about in this world than someones butt size

People don't have to be stick thin in order to be pretty. I think she looks great and if she is happy with her body then good for her
