Don't know. But he was great 22 years ago! But he wouldn't have been caught dead performing on a halftime show then!

They chose Prince because he is an international icon and has just just recently come out with a new album. Whether you like him or not, you cannot deny the fact that the man is a musical genius and has a fan base larger than you could ever imagine. I don't appreciate everyone undermining him when he could have easily refused to perform in the rain considering who he is. I guess you would have liked to see Beyonce or some other newer artist that doesn't produce themselves, write their own lyrics, create their own music, etc.

It's been this way for the last couple of years. The half time shows used to better before the wardrobe malfunction incident.
