cycles - is there any way I can do that? The properties in the screen saver options for the custom text allow me to put in a single quote - yet what I want to do is for the screen saver to give me a slide show of the 50 quotes in order / or in random order. Any software with which I can do that - or any pre-set screen saver whose setup options I can cahnge to accomplish this? Thanks for all the answers.

I think I would obtain (if you don't already have one) a slide show program that provides for random showing of the slides, using some type of image files you can create, pointing to a folder you specify. I thought that type of screen saver program was provided with later versions of Windows (you didn't specify an operating system). If not, you could probably download one for cheap - if not free. Then create the slide files images of the text of the quotes. (I know Windows Paint application will do this). Put all the text images files in one folder and point the slide show screen saver to that folder.
