If I were YOU, I'd make up a name tag for myself, and call myself "The Jizzmopper"
Chill out. They are adults here. Not saying it is right but still, mind your own business.

Do you have a sister? If it was your brother-in-law you caught with some other woman, I'm sure you'd think your sister would have a right to know & decide from there. And, hopefully, restrain yourself from kicking his weak butt. Oh. It's not like you walked into their private personal space. Most places of employment wouldn't or should I say would SAY that they wouldn't condone that.
In other words, if it was someone you cared about that was being cheated on, I think you'd let them know. ???
Do you have a wife? If someone knew your wife was out jumping on someone else's bones, would you want someone to tell you?
Yes, affairs can go on for quite awhile because most people know that everyone is just gonna butt out. And they are careful to do it in a way that the in-laws or other's friends won't know or catch 'em.
Then, again, unfortunately, if you told 'em, they'd probably know it was you & who knows what some people will do. Scott Peterson was convicted of killing his wife. I heard say that it was because she found out he was having an affair & wasn't feeling kindly towards him.
Sorry you had to get caught up in that. The best you can do is if you see them again, try to guide them in morality & say something like you hope they will not do that to their spouses again. Say it with care & concern for their spouses. Smile kindly & leave them with that to ponder.
But then again, they may think real hard about that. Shee-yah! I think it's a terrible thing that spouses aren't told. Because if someone is out cheating, they have divided interests & they are gonna like one more than the other. Some spouses are gonna be hit with alot of b.s. and disrespect because their spouses are out there being disrespectful & turn it against their faithful spouses. Plus, what if the two-some were to conceive? Or share an STD with their faithful spouse. I think there should be more of a deterent but I don't know what the perfect answer is.

Yes, perhaps the family breaking up is the best thing to happen.
You definately gave them a wake-up call. Tell them that if you catch them doing it again, you'll warn their spouses. It gives them a chance to break it off, and if you do catch them, you can do the right thing and let their spouses know.
But if it were me, I'd tell the spouses right away, or else become a part of the affair by keeping it secret. I've been in that type of situation, by keeping something hush hush. It turned out ten times worse, and it involved me.
It's up to you, what are your morals and standards? Would you want to know if your wife/girlfriend were cheating on you? What kind of relationship is that anyway?

I would tell them to get a room somewhere next time and ignore it... If it was a one time thing then maybe thats all it was.. Butting in to their life by tattling on them will only make you the bad guy unfortunately. Sorry I'd have to say keep it hush hush.. but if you catch them repeatedly... then you need to speak up to put a stop to something that is interfering with your job and conscience!

Just leave it alone.
It's not your business, and the affair won't be able to go on forever before they get caught. Put your conscience to rest, and put them out of your mind.

You probably scared the heck out of them but they are sure to just find another venue for their infiedlity. Personally I'd leave them be, they'll get found out sooner or later.

i guess what you do in the dark will come to light. leave it alone. they won't get away with nothing!
however if you are good friends with either of the families and you feel an obligation, although its not yours to tell, go ahead if you feel someone is in danger.
