How active are you? Are you extremely thin? Both of these can cause missed periods. You would be best to go to a gynecologist and tell them your concerns. They can do a simple blood test to check for hormone levels, which if abnormal can also caused missed periods.

Don't stress. Get help.

I recommend seeing a gynecologist. The doctors at the ER are good for emergencies, but they are not specialists in women's reproductive health. Please see a GYN while you are young about this problem. No woman should live with pelvic pain unnecessarily.

Ug! I just read the other answers. NOT STRESS! See a GYN.

Stress can cause havoc on a woman's cycle. I had a friend who went on a diet and it really did a number on her periods. Go see your gyn. Sometimes they will put you on the pill to regulate your cycle.

As for the sex issue. GIrl, in this day you need to be very careful!!! Use a condom and don't depend on the guy to supply them. Put a box in your nightstand, a couple in your purse, the kitchen cabinet, where ever you may have sex. Keep yourself healthy!

This could be one of at least three things.
Vaginits - which should be cultured - visual exams don't tell everything
Ovarian or Uterine problem
Or a Thyroid problem
Have you had a recent Pap Test.
You should seek professional medical attention.

I agree....stress...the more you worry about it, the less likely you are to get it. Every time that I worry I might be pregnant, my period stops promptly!!
