He would probably just like to see something like "welcome home, I missed you" By the way, tell him I said thank you for your service to our country.

Honey, I know you don't want to hear this but he will want nothing more then to have you in his arms and see his new little baby, a sign really won't matter to him. I am an army wife and have pulled all the stops but when my hubby came back from Iraq he didn't care about anything or anyone but me and my kids.
I am so happy for you, congrats on your baby and husband safely making it home!

Out of respect for his rank, time served and the seriousness of this war, I dont really understand the need for cute signs.....myself I love the traditional signs that say we are proud of you...we love you and welcome home then name, rank and service branch.....around here they are usually big old white signs written in red and blue with a flag hanging over them...and they give you chills---everytime. Glad you got yours home safe.

Cute is nice but nothing says welcome home like WELCOME HOME-----how about another one saying WE LOVE YOU and a serious one that says THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE ---these are 3 of the easiest and most touching signs I would want to see---good luck with the baby and a long happy life together-------make that 4th sign a great big red heart---that says volumes to him when he sees it. I wish I could shake his hand--do it for me.

do not bypass loopy on the "celebration" of his homecoming. reckoning on what he's been by, it could be a short even as in the previous he's waiting to leap precise into party mode, and each and every of the celebrating can often times be overwhelming. They sense obligated to take section because they understand what it took to devise all of it out, yet they actually merely favor to carry you shut, spend it sluggish conserving their very personal settee down, and letting bypass of the sting that kept them alive even as they were deployed. enable him have the room he desires... merely take it at his %.. Be there for him, yet do not push. you'd be tremendous!

my husband is in Iraq too- but why the posters?that's a cliche. When he gets off that bus or plane , just hug him, kiss him, and hold each other...thats better than a welcome home poster in my opinion.

Signs are signs,,, all he really wants is YOU so dont stress on what to put on the signs. The signs he will be focused on is the outline of your body and what is waiting for him under your clothes.
