when im on my period my thighs feel numb and hurt like really bad!

I have the same problem! My doc says its a lack of potassium. But, before you go buy some vitamins check with your gyn. He or she can help diagnose the problem.

I don't know why, but my thighs hurt also during my period especially when I am sitting on the toilet seat. It must be something with muscle cramps.

i get this too. my leg cramps are debilitating...it hurts for me to walk. i read that it's due to deficiencies of calcium and/or iron. the iron makes a lot of sense b/c when you menstruate, you are losing blood and even if you are not anemic, the blood loss can temporarily make you have those symptoms.
just make sure you are getting plenty of calcium and iron during that time.
