Ok, I got my period like 4 months ago, but the first time it was a little and for two days. Then the other 3 months, it was only white cleaar stuff and only once was it blood (very little). I know I wipe myself good ok?
Also, my mom knows, but I was like 'this thing is like a diaper. so uncomfortble etc... and said is there any other thing? And she was like 'no', I was hoping she'd say a tampon. Is it wrong if I use them behind her back? And how would I hide the box once it's empty?
She uses tampons herself!!!

This question belongs in women's health. But dont worry about the white stuff thats just discharge and happens to every girl. when you first start having your period its pretty abnormal and the bleeding is off and on so dont worry about that either. But you should tell you're mom about using tampons, im assuming she says they're a no-go because of TSS or toxic shock syndrome which was a pretty big thing a while back. But it's really uncommon now (you just have to steer clear of scented tampons which can greatly increase the risk of getting it, and be sure to change the tampon very often). But if you dont tell her and she finds out she might not trust you anymore and you'll lose alot of the freedom you have now. I'm sure she'll understand if you just approach her like an adult on the subject and dont whine.

That's completely normal. Often times when women first get their periods they might not get one again for a while: I didn't have mine again for 6 months when I first started. The white/clear stuff is totally natural as well, and is vaginal fluid produced to make sure the vagina stays clean & healthy. Guys have an easier time washing their genitals since they're external, so the female body takes care of itself by creating that fluid.
As far as your mom goes, I'd really suggest talking to her about why she objects to you using tampons. Typically, parents or trusted adults might be worried that if a young woman uses tampons that the hymen (a very thin membrane inside the vagina, sometimes referred to as the "cherry") might break. People used to think they could tell if a female was a virgin by if their hymen was intact, but the truth is that 50% of females aren't even born with them. There are a lot of myths out there, and it's important to find out the facts.
Every famliy has a different set of values, so it's a good idea to talk to your mom & find out if maybe she has some values around tampon use for young women, and if she does, talk about them! Good luck!

Kinda, yeah. Ask her though, if you just started 4 months ago, tampons most likely isn't a good idea. She probably knows this better than you do, so talk to her and tell her you are really uncomfortable and would like to try them once.
When I started, I felt really uncomfortable too, but then I was okay. Maybe try pads for a little longer, you'll get used to them, or not, just try it.

ok, don't freak out. for the first year, your period is pretty iffy. the white clear stuff is discharge. don't worry, it's good for you. and you'll get used to the pad. don't sneak tampons. if your mom finds out, she'll lose her trust in you.
