Pardon the morbid question.

I would have the full 25 minute version of Pink Floyd's ''Echoes'' - just to show my loved ones that I can be as obnoxious in death as I am in life!

Seriously though... which song would you have played as your ''send off'' theme?

My Dad's favourite singer was Josef Locke and his favourite song was Blaze Away. I wanted that played at his funeral (cremation) but my sister and brother said it would be too tasteless. Personally, I think he would have roared with laughter.

At my funeral, and this is written in the back of every diary so when they finally catch up with me, they can't say they didn't know; I want They're Coming To Take Me Away, Ha Ha by Napoleon IV. Or, I've just thought about the old song ... Goodbyee.

Awaken by Yes. It's only 15 min. and change, so it's not quite as obnoxious as Echoes.;) I'd follow that up by Amazing Grace as performed by Chris Squire the bass player for Yes.

Probably not your typical choice: Rudy Vallee (1930s) singing "Flying Down To Rio" It has to be him singing it. Every time I hear that song I just smile and tear up. Funny about music, huh. It's either that or Widor's Ninth Organ Symphony in its entirety. Which one would you rather sit through?

Something uplifting like the one I'm listening to now: U2's "Beautiful Day"; also something slightly camp like Eurythmics' 'There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart)". There also needs to be lots of classic Aretha, Ella, Billie H, Madonna, and Anita O'Day who are some of my idols.
