I would say more for a girl than a boy. I remember a movie I saw where a male character was named Morgan and he was being teased by a classmate who said, "here comes Morgan, big M, little organ". Just can't get that out of my head, even though I love the name, and Morgan Freeman too!

Girl! All the way, I know a female Morgan. But sometimes I guess it could be both. I know a girl named Riley but my mom says thats a guy name. So I think that most names can be both. But personally I say girl.

I was going to name my daughter Morgan Alexys. But my cousin, who is a boy, his name is Morgan. I say both.

I have only met girls whose names were Morgan. I have never met a guy named Morgan. But this is your child and your decision. Just don't name it something weird like "Pilot Inspektor" or "Stormy BellyButton." Less teasing in school that way.
