movies in mini skirts?

ok me and my friend went to the movies on friday....we wore very mini skirts and sweaters. i felt like a ****...guys were shouting "hottie" and "damnnnnnnnn" to us and i didnt like it...and we saw a bunch of people from school there and i was just wondering...if u saw a girl from ur school wearing tht what would u think of them??? be honest..i live in michigannn

depending on the entire ensemble. wear stockings instead of bare legs if youre going to wear mini skirts in public places such as the theatre. peace

When I see high school girls in mini-skirts at the movies or someplace similar, I just think they are trying to hard to look good. I did the same thing when I was young.

Now that I'm in my mid-twenties, I wear jeans and a neat/cleaning looking hoodie to go to the movies. I don't go often, so when I do go, I dress casually and comfortable. It's always cold in the movies. Why get dressed up if your in a dark room for 2 hours. No one is going to be looking at what you're wearing for the 5 mins it takes you to walk from the car to the theater and vice verse.

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. The straight dope. Lets review. You wish to wear a smoking hot mini because you know you can rock the hell out of one. When you did, you were cat called by some butt nuggets. Why? Because they see you in the mini as a 10 and they knew they are a 6 at best, and would never have a chance to get next to you, or hook up with you. To attempt to control the power, they seek to take it from you by insulting you or making you feel bad about your choice to wear it. The best thing you can do is not to let it faze you. Basically it was not the mini in itself. If they wanted to knock you down a peg, for whatever reason, you do not have to be wearing a mini. You could be dressed fully covered in a hijab, or turtleneck, or covered up like Ugly Betty, and still be maligned. It all comes down to control. Logic says if you wear a mini and you don't have cottage cheese thighs or fat and chunky, people will look. You will command their attention. Others who are jealous because they can't do it, will try to tear you down as to steal away some of your thunder. The guys to compensate for them never getting near you or into your thong. When those butt nuggets make comments like they did, thy are trying to exert control or the looks of it.

Truth is, we all in some tacit way seek the approval or admiration of others. We don't want our choices of friends, mates, vehicles, homes, clothes etc attack and said to be anything but good. But at some point you have to draw a lime. If you want to wear a mini because it is less restricting movement wise. Cooler to wear temperature wise. Or just plain stylish. You have to claim that right. And if someone makes some snide comment, calmly reply, "That is why my man gets to see this, and you have a woman in a potato sack, if you don't have to blow her up" Then just ignore them and walk off. When you no longer react and they lost the control, they will be frustrated more.

About the people from school, the unfortunate reality is that people are often jealous and they might say mean things about you to feel better about themselves. Ignore them, anyone with half a brain would get fashion and appreciate that you looked good !

It depends if that person from my school has a reputation of dressing like that all the time.If she's known as shy and quiet then I would be shocked if it was a girl known for dressing like that I would think that it typical for her.

I think it's stupid for people to yell stuff @ people for there looks. I wear mini skirts every were. People stair. I'm just like, Yea we look good, you want to make some thin' bout it??? HAHAHA

I would think that you were a hootchie mamma. Why do you dress like a hootchie? I'm sure you know you're going to get a lot of attention, NEGATIVE attention! Oh, it doesn't matter where you live, a hootchie is a hootchie if she shows her stuff.
