I am 21 and size AU 10-12 with G cup breasts. I am having a reduction in 11 weeks and just want to hear from anyone who has had them done.
I work 2 jobs and study at University and I know that everyone is different but:
How much time did you take off work?
How long were you in pain for?
Do you still have any pain?
Have your scars healed well?

I will appreciate any personal answers, thankyou.

**Just wanted to add in that I live in Australia and the operation is costing me AU $10, 500, I will get about $1500 back. I have no problem in spending this much money on something I really want done, but I would never ever ever go to such a country as mentioned to have surgery- it is not worth the risk- there is no way that the surgery can be as good as here and I couldn't fly back for my 1 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 months check up- My surgeon lives in the city 2 hours away from me and I justify paying the extra costs because to me that says that he must be good if he is so expensive.

You should take at least two weeks off of work, depending on how active you are at your job (lifting pulling etc) you should take more off.

I was in no pain at all after my surgery.

I am almost one year post op and 95% of my scars are GONE. You have to really look to see them. Scarguard, Mederma work really well on lightening your scars.

I can tell you a lot more about it, and a site that helped me a LOT is http://www.breasthealthonline.com

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got her Tummy tuck, Liposuction surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps
