I am in my ovulation period and was wondering if any one else has experienced pain during ovulation and what could it mean is the egg dropping or coming through my tubes i was just curious if anyone knew what it meant or if they had experienced this thanks in advance for answers!!!

Yes, I have had sharp pains in the side that is ovulating. The doctor said that it can be caused by the egg exiting the ovary. Unless it is incredibly painful or lasts for an extended period of time there should be no problem.

Yes, I have sharp pains on my side when I ovulate. Actually I think there is a name for it but I can't remember it right now. I read that the pain actually occurs AFTER the egg is released.

ovulation pains are totally normal
you may get the pain in one side one month an then the other side the next month this is because each month your ovaries take it in turns if you get what i mean.
i think its implantation something like that im probably wrong

This condition is called
Mittelschmertz.
Generalized ovulatory pain is normal.. How bad is the pain and is it strickly when you ovualte?
I recommend you make an appointment with your GYN
