Last I heard he was trying to get back into the league. I remember reading an article some time in January about him trying out for an NBA team recently but don't remember which team. I want to say it was either the Houston Rockets or LA Lakers but I'm not sure.

it appears constant injury has dulled what was once a very promising career for penny, much like grant hill

last i heard he wasnt in the league he was working out for Seattle and he wasnt signed. i dont think you will see him in the league this year
