I am a paralegal considering law school. I know most of the classes involve intense reading and case briefs (an assumption), what does the final exam consist of.I know the LSAT is basic reading comprehension, but what does the final exam consist of

LSAT is more than just reading comprehension. Games is the most famous (because it's so weird for a standardized test) section.

Yes, most law classes consist of a lot of reading, where you should brief the cases. Helps to remember the point of each case as you're studying instead of rereading the whole case again. Final exams tend to be essays. Give you a fact pattern. You IRAC it. Spot the issue, give the rule, analyze the facts and apply the rule, then give your conclusion. Typical fact pattern will have several issues to discuss. Yes, every word can be important. Bar exam essays tend to look similar.

Multiple choice final exams do exist. Unlike before, you do NOT want them for the most part. My civ pro one had a fact pattern of a page or page and a half for each question. You had to think through like 8 steps on some questions to figure out the right answer.
