ok, im a freak kinda girl i guess...i can burp really and i mean seriously really loud...(enoguh to echo through an average sized Wal*Mart, no lie) and im 35 weeks pregnant, do you think i could be hurting my babies ears??? i mean, or do you think he is used to it??? my fiance has told me i need to stop or the baby will go deaf, but i really cant help it, if i dont burp i feel like throwing up, and ive always been a loud burper, i cant keep them quite, no matter how hard i try!!!

Your fiance is being dumb, frankly. Burping is VERY common during pregnancy, as everything is being pushed around so much! Your baby's hearing will not be damaged by constant burping. If you were around explosions, only then would you really need to worry.

Tell him to stop making you worry about silly things! :-)

It does not matter how loud you burp it is not going to make ur baby go deaf I use to use head phones and let my baby listen to Rock 'n' Roll Music all the time and he is just fine...Is ur boyfriend a Dr.?

No you are not hurting your babies ears. He is probably just scared he might go deaf or die of embarrassment. But let it out let your freak flag fly high.

I agree with Sam. I burped all the time and his hearing is perfect.
