YES!! So many people need and have learned Spanish for there jobs. My teachers friend knows Spanish, and many other languages, and he is a very successful doctor. I bet that EVERY school in the U.S has a Spanish student that have parents that don't know English very well, or at all. Learn Spanish, and you will become VERY successful.

You don't have to learn Spanish but it's nice to learn another language if you plan to visit a spanish speaking country.

Sadly the answer to this question is yes. America is the melting pot for all cultures and the spanish speaking group is growing rapidly. If you had to choose a secondary language to speak it would be most useful to be spanish.

if you are planning on going to college you need at least two years of language in high school a lot of colleges also look for three years
spanish is one of the easier languages, i take it myself
it also depends on your job if you plan on working with a lot of people then yes spanish would be really good

if you want to learn a second language go for it. Spanish also relatively easy to learn since it is so close to english.

I live in Texas they just brought in a new head to our church here and his English is not that good and his wife speaks no English. I'm sorry but I think that that is totally wrong. This is the person we are supposed to seek counsel from and he's hard to understand, I've decided that it's time to go to a different church.

What would it hurt! I say learn it. Alot of people here speak spanish and sometimes jobs need someone to speak to their clients.
