If there was going to be a world war three which two countries will likely to instigate and start the war?

I'd like to point out John Doe's answer. Russia and USA will not highly wage war against each other. Nor China toUS to Russia and turn it the other way around. It's the simple fact that they are warring countries. They are in fact allies now after the big downfall of the communist bloc. I am not particular in asking who is going to END the earth by using nuclear weapons. I was asking who is going to INSTIGATE and START the war if there was going to be one. Most likely two warring countries. Most logical explanation.

I would like to correct the additional details. I meant US, Russia , and China are NOT warring countries. clerical error as usual.

Hmm, it would be hard for two countries to start a world war by themselves, it woudl be rather divided. But anyways, my guess, is that World War Three would be a three sided war, at least. I think Russia will rise again as a military power, largely based on illusions and criminals. I think that that alone would start Cold War part two, however, we forget that the U.S. is already waging a one man war against the Middle East, which would then contribute a third party. I doubt any alliances would be made between these three parties, leading to a wide spred conflict. Europe would most likely do what the U.S. did in WWI and attempted to do in WWII, and try to stay out of military conflict but give aide to the U.S. If Russia rises as a military power again by Communism, this woudl throw in Cuba, Vietnam, North Korea and China. If China were to aide with Russia, then the U.S. would then be put in desperate condition, making them all too dependent on Europe. This means that Russia would try their best to get China on their side. If Russia once again becomes Communist, they will try to re-establish the soviet union, resulting in immediate conflict wiht Europe. This would bring Europe directly into the conflict. With the help of the Soviet Union, Castro/his successor and Chavez would try to spread Communism through Latin America, bringing the conflict closer to American soil. At the same time, we cannot forget the American conflict with the Middle East, which also spreads to North Africa in their current Muslim resentment of American presence in the Middle East.

Well, that's my prediction for WWIII.

think about it...both Russia and USA have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the earth...if a war starts someone will get pissed and will use some nuclear weapons then the other one will reply in the same way...the only possible way to have a world war without destroying the earth is Russia, China and USA to be on the same side which is not very probable...

Hmmm.... that is a very good question... but I would say Russia would be one and the other is somewhat a toss up..... maybe Germany or one of the Koreas
