Where is the oil filter on the 2002 chevy cavilier?

it is next to the intake manifold closer to transmission it is a black cap with 1 1/4 inch hex on top you will have to use a short socket with an extension .it is a cartridge type filter

Underneath the engine on the passengers side next to the oil pan.

should be mounted on the bottom of the engine somewhere to the drivers side under the car...
