those are all only superstitions the easily reason you should no longer step on cracks (of a pavement) is that your leg may get stuck or chucked interior the cracks and u pick to run (sorry someone needs 2 take u )2 the health facility ! typically joints are meant to be weaker than the different factors on a pave ment so human beings ask u no longer to step on them yet in recent times who listens even as u say the easily reason thats y human beings create their personal thoughts to verify no human being steps and get injured

I don't consciencously not step on them, unless I'm wearing heels. Then the heels just get stuck in the cracks so I need to avoid them to save my shoes!

yup! i dont even realize that i do. oh well im unlucky anyway! and no its not cause of all the times ive stepped on a crack. i live in the boondocks outside of a tiny town so there arent many sidewalks!

It's your worry at having broken a taboo that causes your bad luck
For example if you walk under a ladder and then worry about it you may not see a truck coming because you are looking back at the ladder in fear!
