because it's cold and dark. When i go to work it's dark and when i come home it's dark. when it isn't snowing it's raining. i miss the sun

2 degrees F right now. -27 F with the Wind Chill. Hasn't gone above 7F for 24 hours. Temperature hasn't gone above 12F for a week, so far.
I cleaned a foot of snow out of my driveway on Friday.
On Sunday there's already over a foot again and it's still snowing.
Roads are in terrible condition. Ice, snow, wind, drifts, whiteouts, stupid drivers.
I haven't checked statistics, but a lot of people have been killed in this area recently because of bad road and weather conditions.
It's dangerous to go anywhere because of road conditions, even for groceries.
Can't do any thing outside. It's too cold and everything is covered with snow and ice. Stay outside too long and you can get frostbite before you even know it.
Water pipes freeze sometime and it's a pain to thaw them. If you don't thaw them they break..
Do you need any more reasons for a rational person to hate winter? It's common sense.

I live in Las Vegas and I do not hate Winter. I love winter because it is the most livable season temperaturewise.
I hate summer for the opposite reason

I suffer from SAD-Seasonal Affective Disorder. Since the days are shorter and there is less sunlight, I feel more depressed. Every since I lived in Mexico with practically daily sun exposure, moving back in 2002 to the Pacific Northwest wasn't the best idea.

because its too cold and you can catch cold and allergies in winter.and it snows so the roads are slippery and cars can crash too each other and bad things will happen. the most worse thing is that you cant play in the winter like you play in the summer,spring,orfall but in winter you cant play because its too slippery outside and its too cold. right now we are in detroit, romulus and its -0 fareinheit. i really HATE WINTER AND I REALLY MEAN IT I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I REALLY REALLY HATE WINTER.

I like winter! But uhhh I guess it causes problems for some people because of their mood swings based on weather changes... or also it can like freeze up your pipes in your house and then you won't be able to go to the bathroom in your house.... ewwwwww ^__-
