I liked Angel, especially after they started doing longer story arcs. (the first stand-alone episodes weren't so great.) I always liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel got to delve into more adult stories and had a really interesting moral universe, too.
I watch ER, but not 24, because it's just too violent. I watched some episodes of 24 a couple of seasons ago, because a friend of mine played a terrorist on the show, but once his character was killed off (he drove his car into a wall) I stopped watching again.

24!!! I never liked Angel and ER is ok but 24 is the best!!!
