1. This makes no sense.
a) You went out of your way to buy a present for someone that you were not involved with.
b) Having made the effort to buy the present, you chose not to give it to him.
c) You haven't seen him for two years, yet you are convinced that he knows that you like him.
d) Instead of giving the gift to someone else, you have done nothing with it.
e) Now you want to give it as a Valentine's gift to this same guy who you haven't seen for two years.
f) But maybe you don't want to give it, because you think he doesn't deserve it.
g) You haven't seen him for two years, so he has not even had the opportunity to demonstrate his worth.
h) He may have a girlfriend.
i) He might have moved.
2. Don't give it to the guy you are talking about - he'll be embarrassed, and you'll be embarrassed. I'm even embarrassed that you need advice. If it's a decent present, give it as a surprise gift to your next stable boyfriend.
3. Try and be more clear in your thoughts, it'll be better for you in the long run.

Give it to him. It doesn't have to be on Valentine's Day, but that could be fun.
