I love the character, and I'm really sad that she has been depowered recently. Granted, her power wasn't all that great to begin with, but she was still a great character and had a ton of potential.

I have a creeping suspision that Marvel will kill her off soon, which to put it bluntly, totally sucks. Sure, kill off Jubilee to make room for more busty, barely dressed, typical comic book heroines.

Is anyone else going to care if she dies besides me?

P.S. If anyone would like to tell me that I'm just being paranoid and her character will never die, that'd make me pretty happy too. :)

According to Joe Quesada, Editor in Chief of Marvel Comics, Jubilee and 'friends' will be popping up in the near future in a new Marvel project. It is said that this project will please fans, and that Joe Q himself is very excited about it (newsarama.com, Joe Fridays #14). Joe Q has also stated that Jubilee will be a lead character in this project, and that they have big plans for her to become a lead character in the Marvel Universe.
However, according to Joe Quesada, Jubilee will not regain her mutant powers. He said specifically of the character, "I can tell you here that she will remain powerless for the foreseeable future."[1]

So you are being paranoid. They are NOT going to kill her off.

I would care. I haven't followed the line for a few years, but I remember when the character was first intro'd. Didn't think alot of her at first, but she kinda grows on you. I remember when they brought Dazzler out, never thought she'd make it, and look what they did to her. (Again, it's been a while for me, so if she's no longer a viable character, don't tell me). Jubilee was the mainstay behind the X-men's makeover when the Reavers attacked. If Marvel knows what's good for them, they'll have her powers morphing, I mean any friend of Logan's should be safe, right. RIGHT.

I find her to be an annoying character-- a little too teenage girly for my liking, so I wouldn't really care if they killed her off. And it could happen. But as with any other "death" in a comicbook universe, they can be undone as easliy as they're done. Look at all the characters who have died just to be reborn again or who never died afterall-- Superman, Guardian, Jason Todd (Robin), etc. The writers could do that with Jubilee too.

She isn't the suitable X-23 is, yet i admire jubilee plenty. specially simply by fact all people thinks she is vulnerable, however the suitable occasion of her potential is while (during the ninety's) X-stress had Sabertooth locked up and he broke loose and killed Psylocke. Jubilee got here across her and then annihilated Sabertooth.

death is not permanent in the marvel universe. They've killed gambit off in a few universe and they bring him back to life, jamie madox was killed and even jean gray. so even if marvel kills off jubilee form a petition, write to marvel and the writers will consider her again. I'm fond of her too, so hope they won't kill her
