Women do not have periods when they are pregnant.
Some women will experience some slight spotting when they are pregnant but there is a reason for it and it is not a period. A period is the bleeding that occurrs when the lining of the uterus is shed, this obviously does not happen during pregnancy.
OOps....sorry! You say you are not pregnant and that is probably why you did not know the answer to this question. There are pregnant women on here that use the term "period" when they are pregnant, what they are really referring to is the slight spotting that they have during the time that they would have had a period if they had not been pregnant. Clear as mud huh? Sorry for assuming that you were a guy! Guess I did not look!
I hope I was able to answer your question!
Love and Blessings,
Lady Trinity~

usually when you're pregnant you dont have a period. If you are having one and are pregnant you should go see a doctor. There are chances that you have light spotting in the beginning of the first trimester about 1 in 3 women have this.

Getting a period is usually the first sign that you are not pregnant, as pregnancy is the "cure" for periods. Perhaps you had some implantation bleeding? Or if its heavy, a miscarriage. Talk to your doctor.

If you're having heavy periods you are most likely not pregnant.
