pre- menstrual syndrome

it's a condition that most women experience - at least mildly but usually in various stages of severity during their cycle.

Depending on your hormone balance, it can range from mood swings, to mild to severe headaches, to cramping and nausea and all things in between.

One thing is certain - PMS is real. Most of these symptoms can be treated with medications such as mydol, advil, tylenol and many others, including natural remedies (you need to investigate what works for you).
If you are female and just starting your period, you'll get to know the symptoms of PMS and become familiar with what works for you.
If you are a male - be sensitive to the girls in your life and don't joke about this. I'm not an advocate of girls using PMS as an excuse for their behaviour, but I also say It's not something to make jokes about.

ok. it would seem at first glance that this is an easy question to answer, but it is not.
PMS is a syndrome of imbalance in human hormones. when a female is going thrue a menstral cycle. it is acually very common in males as well but basically ignored for them.
it has a woman( and i stress the term WOMAN ) reacting to casual conversation as if it is a personal attack upon herself. wich it is not. but it is unusually hard for the woman to tell the difference . it really is not something to take lightly but is the butt of many a joke and cnusually be handled with a change of diet and/or vitamins
I hope this helps
