yes and yes and yes
you will be able to swim in march and the temperature may vary from top 30's in the day down to teens at night.
Most likely scenario is about 30 in the day and about 15 at night. The new winter palace is ok the gardens are lovely and the new pool is nice.
But don't always eat there the food varies try some of the other hotels the sonseta, maxims,( try the fillet steak and chips for about £3) between sonesta and sheraton, jems opposite and very cheap the sheraton italian. and many more. have a lovely time and if you want something a little different hire a taxi and go see the valley of the nobles buy tickets at the ticket office for a group of 3 tombs.

New Winter Palace is lovely and of course you have the Old Winter Palace next door. They have pretty gardens out the back and across the street is the Nile itself. Temp ranges between low and mid 20's in March but don't be fooled by the actual temp if you are fair skinned, it is an African sun and powerful so take usual precautions. Have fun - you will love it.

It's a mute point. You will not b allowed to swim or lie out in Luxor. It's an archaeological site. Also it is not such a good idea to swim in the Nile.

it will be about 27 during the day adn about 20 at night. i just got back from egypt it was very warm in the day but cold at night. but march will be warmer. its a nice hotel the winter palace but the old one is nicer they have a great swimming pool. two weeks is a nice time to spend in egypt u should try to go to cairo and to old cairo and fustat. if you like churchs you should go to wadi natrum its about 50miles from cairo. dont pay no more than 200 egyptian pounds to go from cairo to there by taxi. you will get ripped off if you get taxis in egypt but dont pay no more than 50 egyptian from the airport to town and once in the town try to haggle with the drivers to take you to places a short journey should cost u about 5 egyptian. try to get a student card while u are there everyone can get one in egypt u just have to pay but u get 50% off most places and its worth its while.
