Istanbul has made his place in Liverpool history permanent.

He has been a great player for the club whatever he does now.
Jerzy is a great guy to have around, and an even greater guy to have been around.

I hope he stays longer...but whatever he decides...he will always be a part of the Anfield family.

He is a credit to the club, his family and his country.

Dudek performed marvellously during the Champion League Final in Istanbul. But he has been out of form since and is replaced by Jose Reina. Reina performed better than Dudek, although Reina also struggled at times, but when Dudek replaced Reina in some of the matches, he was not as imposing as before. I think the fans want him to stay, with regards to the contributions he made during the Champion League Final. However, in order for Dudek to do well, he needs to play regular in the first team. I suppose it is this reason that he decided not to extend his contract with Liverpool.

As the world of any sport goes - what have you done for me lately? He has been lit up in goal in his first squad apperances, granted he may be one of the great PK keepers. However, even if he does save PKs, that doesn't explain all the goals that are given up at the other times. Liverpool is set with goalkeeping for a while, so keeping Dudek isn't necessary. He NEEDS to go, willingly or w/out a contract renewal. He NEEDS to be playing somewhere. He can be a first squad keeper for someone out there, maybe not in the top-flight. He can still perform, but he can't out-perform.

Dudek has always been good for Liverpool unfortunately the Reina is just better than him despite leading Liverpool to the champions league glory.

I wouldn't mind to see him leaving Liverpool for another club as I believe he's very good at his position.

Thanx!

Dudek is still a great goalkeeper and would still do a job in the Premier League. Liverpool dropped him because they had 2 blame some1 for the leaky defence unfortunately it was him

All players go through bad spells sometimes a player seems to need a change of club to re invigorate him. He is a good keeper but all players play better when their confidence is high and their form is good (one feeds the other)

He isn't refusing to sign the contract because he thinks he's a bad player. Liverpool are also doing ok in 3rd so it's not as if he is at a club that has no Trophy chances to look forward to next season if not still this one.

I am a Liverpool fan. I don't think Dudek is good. He may be a good penalty saver but the others he sux. Reina is much better than him.

He was unfairly put on the bench after being the Champions League Final hero.He maybe wasnt playing as well in the league but afer those spectacular saves in the C.L final he deserved another chance.
