My laptop has a partition set aside for Backup. Is there any way I remove it and add it into my primary C drive without uninstalling windows or removing everything on the hard drive (my laptop didn't come with cd's to reinstall windows).

The problem is that it has 20 gigabytes set aside for backup, and there is also other partitions for restoring windows.

If you don't care about your backup files you can reformat this partition and then merge it with C: partition using Disk Director by Acronis. Note that adding a partition to the system partition is impossible without extra software.

You can, but its not suggested. Partitions are there for a reason. To save your data when Windows crashes, & it will. When it does crash, it will only affect the partition its on, not the other ones. However if your drive fails, everythings lost, but thats another problem. Partition Magic is what I'd recommend, but once again, leave your drive partitioned!

No don't do anything with it. You need it for-
backup. Get an external harddrive if you need more space.
