I was named after the Fleetwood Mac song "Rhiannon". (yes, I am an 80's baby...) I have never questioned the origin of my middle name, "Lee".
My sister "Sheridan" was named because my dad walked past the TV one day and heard it, and liked it, and also because my mum refused to name her "Kate", which then became her middle name.
My sister "Lindsay" was named after the tennis player, Lindsay Davenport and Lindsay Wagner, the Bionic Woman. Her middle name "Renee" came from a friend of the family.
My youngest sister "Kaitie" got her name because that's the name my dad and step mum liked. (don't ask me about the weird spelling - I was totally against the name from the start) Her middle name "Louise" is after her mother.
So, we are sisters 4:
Rhiannon Lee,
Sheridan Kate,
Lindsay Renee and
Kaitie Louise.

Believe it or not, I was named after my mums old car! How humiliating! It was a blue 80's Serica that my mum had until 1994.
Originally, I was supposed to be named Ariel, like the heroine from The Little Mermaid, but my grandmother couldn't speak English very well, since she lived in Japan for most of her life. Instead, my grandmother kept on pronouncing "Ariel" as "Idiot." To prevent any emotional problems for me, my parents decided to name me "Erica" after that stupid car.

My mom had a few names picked out for me, but then heard a mother calling her little girl in the store one day and my mom thought the little girl was so cute and loved the name, so she gave me that name. My middle name is a form of her middle name.

Richard - After my uncle that passed away
William - My grandefathers middle name
Guignard - My fiances Last name

My name is Kelsey and my mom and dad got my name from Kelsey Grammer which is kind of weird because I am a girl. My middle name is just a name that my brother liked and so they named my Kelsey Alexandrea.

Grandma said I was gonna be my mothers downfall, so she thought Fall --- Autumn! there it was. My sister is Salem. she wasn't named after the cigarettes. The name came from a book that said it meant clean and green. I dont' know why you would want a baby to be clean and green, but mom was from the hippie days, so who knows?

Yes, I was named after one of my mother's cousins, and my second name is the same as for the crown princess Victoria of Sweden.

an 80's song that made the name amanda waaaay too popular. not sure about my middle name...i think they just liked the name noelle. it would've been my first name, but they decided on amanda instead...>:(
making me feel better, my fiance's name was changed from Henry to Bryant after his parents heard it on tv. Bryant is MUCH more fitting!! his middle name is glenn, after his dad.
