i h8 talking in front of ppl but ive done it for like 3 yrs nd theve become more importent and more important i have to make 2 for school this yr and 2 for other things. any advice for making a speech and not being nervice?

Practice, preferably out loud, the talk over and over and over until you have it memorized. Don't look down at the podium and talk. People can't hear you that way. Look at the audience and look to the back rows. If you can find someone you know in the audience, look at them when you start to get nervous. He/she will smile at you. If you have to open it up to questions, take your time and think about the question for a couple of minutes. Don't guess. Tell them you'll find out for them if you don't know. Otherwise, make your answer brief and try not to use words that your audience might not know or understand unless you explain them. IF you use notes, make them large enough that you can read them without having to look down at them. The people are there because they want to hear what you say, so relax.

i feel your pain about being nervous. if you have the choice of choosing the topic choose a topic taht you are interested in and that other people will be interested to. about being nervous just practice and relax. Bring notecard with the specific points that you want to make becuase of you forget what you are talking about, you can just look at the notcard
