i had a bit of a fling with a guy from work now thats all ended. We are still friends. he told me the other day that he had a fight with his bro and showed me the bruising around his neck that his bro caused.....you could see his hand print...i was shocked and i didnt react very well . later on i walked into the office and he was sitting alone looking sad/depressed...i really wanted to go to him and hug him so bad....as a friend...but i was scared he would take my actions the wrong way and push me away thinking im trying to make a move. i really felt sorry for him i now feel guilty for not doing anything.

Just talk to him and tell him your honest feelings. He may need a friend right now and if you still care for him that way it's okay to say so.

It's never to late to show a friend affection. It sounds like he is going through a tough situation and you need to be there for him regardless of your past history. Just give good advice and be a good listener. Hugging is okay. Just not for to long. Then it could lead to something more. Good Luck
