No, it's something to point out how foolish and gross doing drugs can be. However, there are some people who do use leeches for medicinal purposes.

No, I think that it is just an anti-drug commercial. The people who wrote the commercial want you to say:
ewww do people actually do that for fun???
about people who smoke weed, or do other drugs.

I think that that commercial is a joke actually...I think its their way of explaining how teens use drugs but in a lighter way...

Actually "leaching" has been used for decades to drain the blood for many different reasons. They have even been used during surgery. Gross? Heck yeah!
