There are better books. How to make money in Stocks by William O'Neill is much better as are some of Jim Cramer's books.

Start there!

Cheers!

I love the Dummies books but I hated this one. I have read over a dozen books on investing, and this one was just useless. It was more of a dictionary than insightful information.

There are some great books including some undisputed champs on investing. However, if you are just learning and want a great layman's guide to real investing, I recommend Rule #1. It takes the great teachings of Graham and Buffet and shows how the individual investor can be a smart investor.

I'm not a fan of the Dummy series in general, but the
books by Eric Tyson (Personal Finance, Investing, Mutual Funds)
in the Dummy series are surprisingly good.

It's okay! It covers the basic of investing!

I would suggest you to go to Wall Street Journal site for investing!

There's a blog about investing and it can be found at

Beats me; try the Wall Street Journal Guies to investing and money. They are basic, easy to read, but sufficient. And ytou can probably work through it in 2 hours.
