Was with my kid at the park, and was sitting on a bench. I watch my kid a 100% without batting a lash as it was crowded. Something terrible like a malevolent energy was behind me, and I do a full turn around and there was a man all dressed in pure black and blk glasses and a huge upside down cross. He didn't come near the children? Parents who saw this commented on him and took their children to the other side of the park. I felt sick to my stomach and did the same.

Yes, I am Catholic. Believe in God.

Wasn't a threat, but just felt very bad energy, to the point of a queasy stomach.

o.k. first off, if you feel, in your gut, that there is any reason at all to "protect" your children, or you get that "fight or flight" response, which often starts in the chest/heart, listen to your gut feeling, this is intuition in it's most purest form......

that said, we are a conditioned society, to fear people who look different than we do, or dress differently from the "norm." tose who have a different opinion on religion or spirituality can "spook" us, if we are conditioned to think that they are of the devil...those who dress in black could be considered evil, no matter how friendly or harmless they would normally appear, this could be something that has been imprinted on you since childhood, or in your particular religious beliefs...we are taught to fear "darkness" which could be represented by the black clothing...and the upside down cross..I'm sure turned you right away, and probably put quite a panic in you if you are a christian.

It is best to go with you "gut" feeling...but sometimes, it is an intelligent and wise decision to later look at where that "gut" feeling may have come from... is it from years of conditioning, or is it from our higher power, the universal love that we all share, our oneness, our intuitive "knowing."

Malevolent Energy

We all have a level of natural intuition. This is particularly so when it involves those we love and care for.
It is not a bad thing, nor does it indicate you have been corrupted by any dark energy sources, rather the opposite,it is perfectly natural as a human.
Nurture your natural gift,in any way you can. By recognising it you will increase it.
It was your intuitive energy that went into a defensive mode.
The fact that you felt physically sick, shows that your brain was giving alarm bells by producing a chemical reaction.
As children, and in much, much earlier societies this intuition was much stronger than that we have today.Although we have it, by the time we begin school it begins to fade.
An example is,your baby will take a dislike to some thing or someone, for no apparent reason.
This doesn't mean that there is harm intended, always remember that.
But it is part of the brain trying to self protect .
At our present level of evolution,we have outgrown the need for such highly developed defense systems.
The signals are still being produced, but as we have forgotten how to use them naturally, they tend to get a bit jumbled.

Yes, I think you can. Similar things have happened to me,where I can sense something bad in a person that nobody else can, and come to find out later on, I'm usually right.

I think this is a matter of instincts, and the most important thing is to always trust them. Your instincts don't lie.

Usually when my instincts kick in like that it feels like my skin is pulling me away before my body can react.

Something in you had a visceral reaction to this guy. His 'bad vibes' raised your hackles, bringing out your protective instincts.
I do believe that people give off 'vibes' or 'energy' or whatever you want to call it. Follow your gut instincts. Avoid that park for a while. What was goth-man doing hanging out there anyhow?

Yes, there are some pretty weird people out there, but if you think the children were threatened by this person you should have reported it to the cops and made them aware.
