Gold and i got it bad, and have obsession with it I'm OTT. extreme to a passion.. have been since 14 yr old.

I like both, depends on what I am wearing and the colour of my outfit.
Sometimes I don't see why people pay more for jewellry when you can get so much more silver jewellry and can have more variety to wear. However, gold, because it is more expensive, makes you think people care more about you.
I just don't see why people wear platinum or white gold though, as it looks like silver and only they know what it is! Why not save your money and get silver in the first place!

I would say silver (I don't like the yellow of normal gold), but silver tarnishes so easily. Instead, I prefer white gold. It looks like silver, but it doesn't tarnish like it.
Although, I've had some rings that were silver, and the crevices that tarnished actually brought out the design and made the ring more distinguished and beautiful.

Silver all the way. Gold's been ruined by that whole chav bling thing and you can't help but think it looks cheap these days. Silver on the other hand isn't trying to be anything so it wins!

I like both, but have always preferred gold. I think it's better with my coloring.
My daughter has always greatly preferred white gold or silver, and it looks better on her.

It's silver for me all the way. I think it looks great on fair or tanned skin. I also love white gold.

I prefer white gold cos I prefer silver against my skin tone and gold doesn't tarnish as easily as silver so its a good combo or both.
