Nothing can help, it depends on your skin. I got horrible stretch marks, as did my mother. But not one of my 4 other sisters did. Go figure. They all have soft thin tissue like skin. I have tough, dry, thick muscular feeling skin. I lubed myself daily through my pregnancy, with anything and everything suggested to me. Nothing helped. Lotion will help with the itchiness a little. Good luck, stretch marks are a very trivial thing to worry about considering the blessing you are receiving.

it might for some people but not for me. I used it while pregnant. I would butter my belly like a turkey everyday and I still have stretch marks. I honestly believe it is all in your skin type.

Stretch marks are genetic. If your mom or grandma had them then chances are you will too! IF they didn't, then congrats!!! I still used the cocoa butter and lotion nightly while pregnant because of the whole elastic marks and itchy belly thing. Hope this helps.

no, there is nothing that you can do to prevent stretch marks or get the ones that you already have to go away. getting stretch marks is all in your genes. some women get them and some don't. there is no magic pill, cream, or lotion that is going to help.
