What Names?

Question

What names that you liked as a kid do you still like? Would you ever use any? How many people have been keeping a name list for a very long time? How long? Do you frequently find yourself crossing some of the top ones off because your tastes have changed?

Sorry to ask so many questions in one. I'm just curious.

Thanks so much for the current answers. I notice that my tastes haven't changed that much, but certain names have become completely horrid to me.

Otherwise, I think that my taste is pretty similar.

I have been keeping a list since I was 14. I am now 21. My fave names back then were:

Ebony Renee and Zacheriiah Jaykobh

However, I have since changed my mind.

For a girl I now like:

Eveysha Grayce Renee

For a boy I now like:

Zacheriiah Eli Tennyson

I also love the names:

Victoria Willow
Benedict Kadin Myles
Shekae Renee (Shekae being a combo of one of my sisters first and middle names and Renee being another sisters middle name)

I've always liked the name Elizabeth. It's just such a pretty name. Katherine, too. My taste in names hasn't changed all that much over the years. I mostly like classic names, but I have to admit Caitlin, Brittany, & Lindsay are 3 kind of trendy names that I adore.

Yes I have had a list since I was about 12 and now Im 19. I never change my mind about which names like. I would name my children any of these names:
alexandria
sonora
tatium
jeremiah
dominick
nickodemous

I always loved the name Chrystal when I was younger, but I don't care much for it now. And I've always loved the name Emma, and that hasn't changed. I never picked out a boys name when I was younger. I also liked the name Kessa, but I didn't name any of my kids that.

When I was little, I always wished my name was Julie. When my daughter was born I wanted to name her that, but a cousin of mine named his daughter Julia just a few months before my daughter was born, so I didn't name her that.

I always loved the name Jeremy, but my husband didn't want to name our child that. A former boyfriend that I had was named Jerry. He thought that people would shorten Jeremy to Jerry. I think that is extremely stupid, but I didn't name my child Jeremy.

My kids were named Elaina and Nathaniel. IF it weren't for my cousin and husband they would've been Julie and Jeremy.

Yes, i liked several names as a kid that i would no longer choose.

It's funny, but now i go for more classic names (James, Elizabeth, Michael etc) than i chose as a kid.

ever since i was little i have had the same 2 names on my list and now that i am 26 when i had my daughter last year i gave her my fav name

I have always lke the names mia and anna, but there are other names that I used to like but no longer do, mainly becuase I have met people with tha name and they arent nice people at all. I used to like Mackenzie and Rochelle for girls. For boys I used to like Ethan, but at the moment I like tha name Max

I remember loving the name "Hermione" after reading the first Harry Potter book. I still want to name my future daughter "Hermione".
I also liked "Samara", but decided to not to name any of my kids that after watching "The Ring."
