I don't own one and I'm considering buying one. If you own it, whats so cool about it?? What are some good games??

The DS is an amazing handheld, and is currently the best selling system in the history of video games.
The games I would suggest the most are:
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow:
If you like the 2D metroid games, then this is a must have. It takes the basic Metroid formula, and adds tons of weapons, like swords, axes, spears, and even guns (because this one is set in the near future, unlike the other Castlevania games), along with the famous soul system.
The Soul System lets you absorb the souls of enemies that you have defeated. You can equip the soul, and when equipped, you can use that enemy's special ability (ex. if you get the medusa soul, you can turn enemies to stone). Some of the souls even let you tranform into that enemy.
I would also suggest the other DS Castlevania, Portrait of Ruin.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney:
This is one of my favorite games. I wasn't expecting much from a primarily text based game, but I really was surprised. You will spend hours trying to solve the game's five cases, and then spend hours trying to get the judge to give your client a Not Guilty verdict.
Trauma Center: Under the Knife:
An amazing doctor sim, and truly inovative. You use the stylus to preform tons of surgical procedures, and fight to save the world from a strange new disease.
Animal Crossing: Wild World:
I really only suggest this if you are into this type of game. I really can't stop playing. I got it back on December 25, 2005, and have played it every day since.
I would suggest starting with these games.

Because it can play Game Boy Advance games as well as DS games. I love my DS. If you like Final Fantasy you need one, you can play the first six FF games on it. My friends all have PSP because all they care about is graphics. If that's what you're into then, by all means, buy a PSP. But if you want great gameplay and an enormous selection of excellent games, buy a DS.

The Super Mario Bros Game... need I say more? That game is THE BEST!!!! Also, if you DO get one, get a DS Lite not a DS. They are way better, heaps skinnier & the screen is bigger :)

its a very fun system to play with a diverse choice of games. ive owned 5 ds games. all various types of games. the fps game wasnt my type of fps so i returned it. the mario game is pretty good. the sims 2 was fun. hotel dusk room 215 is quite amusing and is very different from any game ive ever played. and pokemon mystery dungeon blue was just plain bad.

The cool thing is that it has WI-FI and the tough screen. Mario Kart has WI-FI and it's fun.

THE D.S is awesome i highly remconed it. get wario touched, the zelda when it comes out. and trama center is also a awsome game

ok first of all it can go wi-fi and it got mario kart and 3on3 mario basketball and its touch screen
