I think that would be a travesty. We'd have to do the same thing with the world series, NHL and NBA playoffs, Indy 500, World Cup, Olympics..... no one would ever work.

that would be a monday..as long as employer's lose so much production because of people calling in sick or poor performance, you might as well...however, i don't think it should be a paid holiday
