So I say...forget the the whole silly question.. and buy us all a round of drinks and enjoy spending your money!! :)

I would take the money, it's so much more versatile.
With a drink you have got, well, a drink, but with money you could choose whether to have a drink or something else, say, something to eat,
or your bus fare/ taxi/ train home
or a newspaper
some sweets
some stamps
a bar of chocolate
a pen or a pencil
a tin of cat/dog food for your furry friend of course not for yourself!
a candle
some soap
that's just to give you a few ideas, of course if it's a lot of money then you could buy other things like a house or a car or a nice holiday or that flat screen 42inch television.

It rather depends where you are. If you are in a pub, then take the money. If you are in the desert take the drink !
